Online Correspondences Course for Health and Fitness Professionals

The BEST Exercise Program for Osteoporosis Prevention. Teach your clients the six BEST exercises to prevent osteoporosis. Funded by an NIH grant, the University of Arizona BEST Team of researchers identified the most effective exercises for preventing osteoporosis and improving bone mineral density in postmenopausal women. Teach your clients training protocols, specific programming and motivational strategies that are guaranteed to be the BEST for optimal bone health.

This course was developed through support of the Arizona Osteoporosis Coalition and provides continuing education credits for more than 10 health and fitness organizations.

The online course was developed by the University of Arizona, Center for Physical Activity and Nutrition and the Arizona Osteoporosis Coaltion for community health workers to learn about osteoporosis prevention. The online course is free.
